My name is Pam Mondale, I'm from Minneapolis. I've been a "creative" my entire life. I've created retail stores, and home decor, textiles, three grown kids too- but always, always, I've created jewelry.
There were two "Laurels" in my life. The first, and dearest -my great grandmother Martha Laurel. She was a seamstress and a craftsperson - she instilled in me the importance of having an eye for detail when finishing a piece.
The second "Laurel" - a canyon in the Hollywood Hills. I lived in Laurel Canyon for a bit in my mid twenties. I encountered people from all over the World who expressed themselves visually. I have a great appreciation for people who project who they are on the INSIDE, on the OUTSIDE.
What inspires me...
People with bold personal style -
Colors and textures found in nature -
Artistry - Craftsmanship - Vintage Styles
I love every step in the process of making a piece of jewelry. I'm constantly hunting for beautiful and rare vintage sterling pieces to combine with stones, pearls, or leather. No two designs are exactly the same because I hand pick each element, and assemble them myself.
